Naperville Park Board incumbents appear headed to new terms as election results roll in

With all the votes counted in Will County, incumbents Leslie Ruffing, Alison Thompson and Rhonda Ansier appeared headed toward second terms on the Naperville Park Board, joined by newcomer Aishwarya Balakrishna.

Because the park district is in both Will and DuPage counties, results from both need to be final before there are unofficial results are complete as of Tuesday night. The count as of now is:

Leslie Ruffing: 8,178 votes.

Zachary W. Jarrell: 4,623 votes.

Natalia Dagenhart: 5,102 votes.

Aishwarya Balakrishna: 7,084 votes.

Rhonda Ansier: 6,956 votes.

Alison Thompson: 7,993 votes.

Election results will remain unofficial until mail-in ballots postmarked for Election Day or earlier are counted, provisional ballots are checked and votes are canvassed.

Ansier, Ruffing and Thompson are all running for reelection after first being elected to the board in 2021.

Unofficial election results will be updated through the night Tuesday as votes are tabulated.
