The following items were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt:
- A 39-year-old woman from Aurora was arrested on charges of driving on an expired registration, aggravated unlawful use of weapons, illegal transportation of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance at 9:02 p.m. Aug. 7 at East Ogden Avenue and Iroquois Avenue.
- A 19-year-old man from Chicago was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct at 9:56 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 2500 block of West 75th Street.
- A 24-year-old man from Wheaton was arrested on a warrant at 2:48 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 1500 block of Naperville Wheaton Road.
- A 41-year-old man from Naperville was arrested for violating an order of protection at 8:32 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 500 block of Toll Gate Road in Elgin.
- A 37-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on a charge of harassment/electronic communication at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at Birchwood Drive and River Road.
- A 33-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault at 6:22 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 1200 block of West Ogden Avenue.
- A 24-year-old man from Oswego was arrested on charges of failure to give signal when required, operating an electronic communication device while driving, possession of a controlled substance and possession of 100 to 500 grams of cannabis at 6:57 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 200 block of Eola Road.
- A 60-year-old man from Midlothian was arrested on a charge of failure to notify damage/unattended vehicle at 10:04 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 28500 block of Bella Vista Parkway in Warrenville.
- A 34-year-old man from Milwaukee was arrested on charges of failure to signal when required, defective or no turn signal, illegal transportation of cannabis and possession of a controlled substance at 10:16 p.m. Aug. 8 at North Route 59 and West Diehl Road.
