Naperville Police Arrests for Aug. 9-11

The following items were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt:

  • A 19-year-old man from Plainfield was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen firearm and aggravated unlawful use of weapons at 11:05 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 1500 block of Aurora Avenue.
  • A 29-year-old man from Chicago was arrested on charges of aggravated unlawful use of weapons, illegal transportation of cannabis by a passenger, possession of a firearm/invalid FOID card and possession of 10 to 30 grams of cannabis at 10:20 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 3200 block of Odyssey Court.
  • A 22-year-old woman from Chicago was arrested on charges or illegal lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:28 a.m. Aug. 10 at North River Road and Crab Apple Court.
  • A 25-year-old woman from Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, was arrested on charges of disregarding a stop sign, failure to signal when required, driving on a suspended/revoked license, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver and illegal transportation of cannabis at 9:51 a.m. Aug. 10 at Diehl Road and Raymond Drive.
  • A 19-year-old man from Chicago was arrested on charges of failure to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions, possession of a false ID card and driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:25 a.m. Aug. 11 at North Avenue and North Charles Avenue.
  • A 50-year-old woman from Hillside was arrested on charges of failure to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions and driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:38 a.m. Aug. 11 at North Washington Street and East Warrenville Road.
  • A 36-year-old woman from Naperville was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and endangering the health/life of a child at 2:37 p.m. Aug. 11 at West Jefferson Avenue and South River Road.
  • A 27-year-old man from East Moline was arrested on charges of theft over $500 and harassment by telephone at 5:18 p.m. Aug. 11 at the police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.
  • A 19-year-old man from Chicago was arrested on a charge of battery/bodily harm at 11:53 p.m. Aug. 11 in the first block of East Chicago Avenue.
