Naperville voters turn out in large numbers to cast ballots in Tuesday’s election

Voters head toward the Naperville Municipal Center polling place in the early hours of Election Day on Nov. 5, 2024. Going into Tuesday, 24,211 voters turned out for the last day of in-person early voting across DuPage County, nearly double those who turned out to vote the day before Election Day in 2020, officials said. Nearly 60% of registered voters in DuPage County had voted early, mailed in their ballots or visited their precinct polling place as of noon Tuesday to make their selections for president, judges, DuPage County offices and other races, reflecting the trend seen all over the country on Election Day. Votes were tallied Tuesday night and unofficial results can be found on the Naperville Sun website, napersun.com.
