Villa Park has approved the architectural firm and the sale of bonds up to $7.5 million to help fund a new recreation center and redevelopment of outdoor facilities at Lions Park. The village is rushing to meet a deadline to hold onto a $10 million grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
