Nikola Vučević, Coby White and Josh Giddey lead Chicago Bulls past Portland Trail Blazers 118-113

Nikola Vučević and Coby White scored 31 points apiece, Josh Giddey had a triple-double and the postseason-bound Chicago Bulls beat the Portland Trail Blazers 118-113 on Friday night at the United Center.

Giddey had 15 points, 19 rebounds and 12 assists for his sixth triple-double of the season. The Bulls and Miami Heat are tied for the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference, but the Bulls own the tiebreaker because they won the first two games of their three-game season series.

Deni Avdija led the Blazers with 37 points. Coming off a victory in Toronto on Thursday night, the Trail Blazers went 2-3 on a five-game trip. They are 12th in the West.

Dalano Banton added 21 points and Shaedon Sharpe had 17 for the Blazers, who were without Anfernee Simons (forearm), Jerami Grant (knee), Deandre Ayton (calf) and Scoot Henderson (concussion protocol).
