It was a reunion of sorts at Naperville’s Edward Hospital when Dr. Bob Covert began treating a premature baby boy who happens to be the son of a patient he cared for 24 years earlier in the same Newborn Intensive Care Unit. “This is the first one where a baby who was once in the NICU here has delivered a NICU baby here, too,” he said.
