NWI communities win state Community Crossings funding

The Indiana Department of Transportation has awarded more than $200 million in Community Crossings matching grants to 245 Indiana towns, cities and counties, including several in Northwest Indiana.

The communities generally use the funding for paving projects and bridge maintenance.
