COVID-19 mass vaccination clinics halted today in Aurora and Elgin after Illinois discontinued use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine “out of an abundance of caution” regarding blood clots in six women who’d had shots. There are no known cases of serious side effects from the vaccine in Illinois, a Chicago official said.
