The Our Lady of Perpetual Help Women’s Guild No. 35 Laundry Drive is in its last week of collection. The guild figured out the average cost of washing and drying a load of laundry is $4, and that some families need to decide between doing laundry and paying bills. This affects them in a number of ways — job interviews, general presentation, self-esteem and more.
