The Original Rainbow Cone is opening a Lombard location in May. The Chicago ice cream shop, famed for its five-flavor cone, dates back to 1926. The Original Rainbow Cone also operates a seasonal kiosk at Navy Pier, and has expanded to a fleet of four ice cream trucks.
