Park district planning egg hunts, spring break camps, gardening workshops and more for this spring

With spring and Easter just around the corner, Naperville Park District has a fun lineup of spring-themed events and programs for all ages and interests scheduled for March through May.

It’s also offering a variety of camps to be held during spring break, which this year is March 31 to April 4.

Children’s activities

  • Nature Discovery Days – Saturday, March 29, and Monday, March 31, through Friday, April 4;
  • Family Bingo – Friday, April 4;
  • Flashlight Egg Hunt – Thursday, April 17;
  • The Great Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 19;
  • Fishin’ Kids – Sundays, April 13 and 27 and May 4 and 18.

Landscape/garden workshops

  • Establishing and Maintaining Your Lawn – Saturday, March 15;
  • Basic Gardening Workshop – Saturday, April 5;
  • Organic Gardening Workshop – Saturday, April 26.

Outdoor exploration and tours

  • Garden Plot Tours – Wednesday, April 9; and Saturday, April 19;
  • Spring Wildflower Walks – Thursday, April 24, and Saturday, May 3;
  • Forest Therapy Walk with Tea Ceremony – Sunday, May 4;
  • Family Hike with a Naturalist – Saturday, May 24.
