A woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing a 7-year-old boy Saturday morning inside a Rogers Park home, according to Chicago police.
The 26-year-old woman pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the boy in the abdomen around 8 a.m. inside a residence in the 1700 block of West Touhy Avenue, police said.
The boy was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in fair condition. The woman was arrested and charges are pending, police said. The relationship between the woman and the child was not provided.
