Deputies with the Porter County Sheriff’s Department are investigating graffiti about murdering children on the driveway of a Valparaiso home flying an Israeli flag.
Police were called around 8:06 a.m. Feb. 14 to the 2600 block of Woodbine Drive after the homeowner discovered unknown subjects used black spray paint to write “We love to murder
children” in his driveway.
The homeowner, according to a report, told police he believed his residence was targeted because he has the flag of Israel hanging in the front of his residence. The homeowner “indicated he is not Jewish himself, but believed because he supports Israel that he was targeted with this message.”
Police checked neighboring homes to see if they had doorbell cameras but did not find any. At this time, there are no suspects, leads or witnesses in the criminal mischief case, police said.
