Prayer as 'spiritual warfare': Palatine churches hold 2-mile pilgrimage for Ukraine

About 400 people from across the region took part in a 2-mile prayer pilgrimage Thursday in Palatine for peace in Ukraine. “There was just this deep need to feel like we’re doing something — and we can pray,” said Nicole Carlisle, of St. Theresa Catholic Church, which organized the march with Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church.
