COVID-19 hospitalizations continued their weeklong decline Wednesday, now down 9.8% from a week ago. Gov. J.B. Pritzker called the steady drop in patients over the past week a “welcome change” from the “precipitous increases” in hospitalizations Illinois medical personnel saw over the previous seven weeks.
