Morton Arboretum President and CEO Gerard Donnelly will retire in 2022 after more than 30 years in charge, longer than any of his predecessors. Donnelly’s influence can be seen in virtually every corner of the 1,700-acre tree museum. The Daily Herald recently spoke with Donnelly about that legacy.
