Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 15050 S. Central Ave.: Pinwheel sale through early April for $1.50 apiece at the office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and after services at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. All proceeds will go to Prevent Child Abuse Illinois. Pinwheels are the national symbol for child abuse and neglect prevention. They will be displayed in the church garden in April, which was designated Child Abuse Prevention Monthy in 1983. Participants also may buy pinwheels for their own homes.
