Faith United Methodist Church, 15101 S. 80th Ave.: Joint worship service at 10 a.m. April 21. It’s a “pack the pew” Sunday, meaning members are invited to bring a friend to church. The goal is at least 120 people. A Spring into Salads potluck follows at 11:30 a.m. Bring a favorite salad to share. Drinks, tableware and dessert will be provided. Bag sale is from noon to 3 p.m. April 20 for $6 for the first bag and $3 for others. Nearly new items are half price on Saturday. Proceeds support community outreach programs. Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 Roberts Road: Sale of cookbook titled “Treasured Recipes and Memories.” It’s the fourth edition of the cookbook produced by the St. Helen Women’s Philoptochos. The original was published in 2011. It contains more than 500 recipes that include Greek, American, gluten-free and other ethnic specialities from members. Proceeds support charities.
