U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Channahon, who has sought and gained national attention for battling Donald Trump’s influence over the Republican Party, said Thursday he has no intention of seeking statewide office in 2022 and acknowledged it would be difficult for him to get through a GOP primary.
