Cubs pitcher Jameson Taillon was brilliant for 5 innings, then allowed a game-tying grand slam in the sixth to Detroit’s Kerry Carpenter. No worries, though, as the Cubs scored single runs in the eighth and ninth to beat the Tigers 6-4 on Wednesday in Detroit.
