Retired Chicago Blackhawks goalie Nikolai Khabibulin in June listed his three-bedroom, 2,300-square-foot condominium on the 37th floor of a River North high-rise for $1.95 million.
The Russian-born Khabibulin, 51, signed a four-year, $27 million deal with the Blackhawks in 2005 but struggled to stay healthy and post consistent results. He left the team in 2009 when he signed a free agent deal with the Edmonton Oilers, but he played one final season with the team in 2013, although he only appeared in four games before a hip injury ended his skating in the NHL.
In River North, Khabibulin and his wife, Victoria, paid $1.76 million in late 2005 for the unit, which is in the Pinnacle building. The unit, which faces east, has 3-1/2 bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, two balconies, two primary bedroom suites, a recently renovated kitchen with quartz countertops, a breakfast bar and two included parking spaces.
Listing agent Julia Alexander declined to comment on the listing.
The condo had a $29,440 property tax bill in the 2024 tax year.
The Khabibulins own a house in Paradise Valley, Ariz., which they purchased for $4.15 million in 2005.
