Offensive Player of the Week

Senior quarterback Tony Chahino throws for 153 yards and four TDs, sparking Geneva to a 30-7 win over Batavia in a battle for first place in the DuKane Conference. This season, Chahino has thrown for 1,412 yards and 25 TDs.

Defensive Player of the Week

Junior safety Dylan Reyes makes a team-high 10 tackles to lead Geneva’s defense, which held Batavia’s Nathan Whitwell to 34 yards on 16 carries. It’s the first time this season that Whitwell hasn’t topped 100 yards.
