A Romeoville man was charged Friday in connection with three robberies that happened in September on Chicago’s Southwest side, Chicago police said.
Giotono Solis Evans, 19, was charged with three counts of robbery with a firearm. He was arrested by members of the Robbery Task Force Wednesday in the 3100 block of West Flournoy Street, police said.
Earlier, Evans was identified as one of the suspects who robbed two men in the early morning hours of Sept. 24 in the 3300 block of West 62nd Place. He also was connected to a robbery of a woman that happened minutes later in the 6200 block of South Karlov Avenue, police said.
He was scheduled to appear at a detention hearing Friday.
