Illinois State Police troopers, medical personnel, friends and family members gathered Saturday to escort Trooper Brian Frank and his wife, Lauren, home after his discharge from Northwestern Medicine Marianjoy Rehabilation Hospital in Wheaton. Brian Frank suffered a traumatic brain injury in February 2021 after his patrol vehicle was rear-ended when he stopped to assist at a crash on I-55 near Joliet.
