Slight chance of snow flurries before 9 a.m., weather officials say

National Weather Service officials said there is a slight chance of snow flurries before 9 a.m. Saturday in the Chicago area.

Officials expect conditions Saturday to be sunny but blustery with temperatures in the high 20s.

Friday, temperatures in the 50s were recorded before dropping in the night hours.

Current conditions at O’Hare International Airport are mostly cloudy at 25 degrees with a wind chill of negative 4. Farther south at Midway Airport are light snow at 27 degrees with a wind chill of negative 3, officials said.

A high of 29 degrees was expected Saturday before a high of 37 degrees Sunday.
