Slippery, wet and beautiful — first snow of the season lands in Naperville

The first snow of the season was wet and beautiful as it fell Thursday morning on Naperville’s Riverwalk. While short-lived — forecasts call for temperatures in the 40s Friday and Saturday and possibly as high as 50 Sunday — it was very real for anyone traveling by car or foot Thursday, with slick roads, foggy conditions and sidewalks slippery enough to need salt.
