Snow expected to continue in Chicago Thursday morning with wind chills below zero

National Weather Service officials are expecting light snow to continue in the Chicago area in the morning areas warning of slippery roadways and windchills hovering to negative eight degrees by the night hours.

Current conditions at O’Hare International Airport is overcast at 22 degrees, and farther south at Midway Airport conditions are light snow with fog and mist at 26 degrees.

There is a 70 percent chance of snow in the area Thursday with temperatures in the low 20s, but conditions are expected to clear up eventually with windchills as low as negative eight degrees.

Friday, there is a chance of increasing cloud coverage with temperatures in the low 20s with a chance of flurries.
