A suspect remained at large after a man was shot to death in what police called a domestic incident in the Roseland neighborhood on the far South Side Wednesday morning.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the dead man as 52-year-old Eric McMillen, of the South Chicago neighborhood. According to police, McMillen was in an argument with someone he knew on the 11200 block of South Normal Avenue around 7:15 a.m. when that person shot him in the chest and stomach.
He was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, no one was in custody and Wentworth area detectives were investigating the shooting.
