South Elgin chiropractor charged with sexually assaulting patient in his Campton Hills office

A South Elgin man who worked as a chiropractor in Campton Hills has been arrested on charges he sexually assaulted a patient in his office, law enforcement officials said.

David A. Williamson, 49, of the 600 block of Thornwood Drive, was taken into custody Feb. 9 on two counts of felony criminal sexual assault, four counts of felony criminal sexual abuse and two counts of misdemeanor battery, according to a news release from Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie Mosser and Campton Hills Police Chief James Levand.

The incident is alleged to have occurred on Dec. 20 at Williamson’s chiropractic office.

Williamson will be held in the Kane County jail while he waits for his case to go to trial.
