Local musicians attend prestigious academy
Richton Park’s Ethan Matthews and Olympia Fields’ Jordan Pierson recently spent two weeks in Door County, Wisconsin, studying at Birch Creek Music Performance Center.
Matthews and Pierson, who are students at Rich Township High School FAC, were among 51 musicians from throughout the country to attend the Big Band Jazz II session at this prestigious academy.
