Waukegan moves to No. 1 as Highland Park and Vernon Hills enter the rankings.

Grayslake Central transfer Xavi Granville scores 22 points in the Bulldogs’ North Suburban Conference win against Lake Zurich on Wednesday.

2. Warren 5-2 (1)

Jack Wolf scores 14 points and plays stellar defense in the Blue Devils’ NSC win against Lake Forest on Wednesday.

3. Stevenson 5-2 (3)

Aidan Bardic scores 10 of the Patriots’ 12 points during overtime of their NSC win against Libertyville on Wednesday and finishes with 23.

4. Libertyville 5-1 (6)

Liam Hanson, who is doing a little bit of everything for the Wildcats, scores 14 points against Stevenson while playing the entire fourth quarter and overtime with four fouls.

5. Lake Forest 5-2 (4)

Dominic Mordini, who scored 16 points against Warren, is playing at a particularly high level for the Scouts early in the season.

6. Grayslake Central 6-1 (8) 

Chris Jaimes and Eric Brum have been setting the tone during the Rams’ solid start, especially on the defensive end.

7. Highland Park 6-1 (NR)

Simon Moschin is scoring at a torrid pace, totaling 60 points in two weekend wins and recording 23 more in the Giants’ win against Mundelein on Tuesday.

8. Deerfield 4-3 (5)

Jake Pollack has picked up where he left off last season, leading the Warriors with 15 points on a weekend trip to Quincy and 17 points in a win against Vernon Hills on Monday.

9. Grayslake North 5-3 (9)

Jayden Hunt scores his 1,000th career point during a personal 5-0 run down the stretch of the Knights’ 39-36 Northern Lake County Conference win against Lakes on Wednesday.

10. Vernon Hills 4-3 (NR)

Tyler Perritt comes out of the gate strong, averaging 12 points and being named all-tournament at Northridge.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Antioch senior guard Teddi Wetu, who is averaging 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 4.0 steals while shooting 56% from 3-point range, sets career highs in points in consecutive games with 29 against Libertyville and 32 against Prospect.
