Jack Burger catches two of Daniel Van Camp’s three touchdown passes in the Scouts’ win against previously unbeaten Libertyville.

2. Libertyville 7-1 (1)

Blaise LaVista is virtually unstoppable, even in a loss, with 11 catches for 216 yards and three TDs against Lake Forest.

3. Stevenson 7-1 (2)

Aidan Crawley’s nine completions produce 313 yards and four TDs, including three to Thomas Simmons, in the Patriots’ win against Zion-Benton.

4. Wauconda 6-2 (6)

Khalil Roberson makes two interceptions as the Bulldogs bounce back from a loss to Antioch to beat Lakes.

Becoming almost impossible to contain, Tyler Zdon rushes for 161 yards and four TDs and also catches six passes, including a TD, in the Bulldogs’ win against Antioch.

Mitchell Hughes completes 18 of 29 passes for 269 yards and four TDs, including two to Cameron Bates, in the Knights’ win against North Chicago.

8. Warren 5-3 (10) 

Anthony Soto makes seven tackles, including three for loss and a sack, in the Blue Devils’ win against Lake Zurich.

9. Lake Zurich 4-4 (7)

George DiCanio continues to make plays for the Bears, recording 16 tackles against Warren.

10. Deerfield 4-4 (9)

The Warriors hope to be close to full strength for their game against New Trier, with playoff eligibility on the line.

Junior quarterback Matthew Gipson completes 22 of 30 passes for 353 yards and four touchdowns during Grant’s 56-54 Northern Lake County Conference win against Antioch.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Senior linebacker Caden Schultz forces a fumble to cause a safety, recovers another fumble and makes five tackles during Stevenson’s 44-21 North Suburban Conference win against Zion-Benton.
