The Park Ridge Historical Society is seeking photos of World War II veterans with ties to Park Ridge for a Wall of Honor it is creating. It will make up part of the society’s exhibits on the 10th Mountain Division and the 80th Memorial of D-Day.
Perhaps your World War II veteran grandfather or great-grandfather grew up or lived in Park Ridge, or you attend a school district connected to Park Ridge. The Historical Society asks that you drop off a copy of a photo of your veteran to become part of the exhibit.
Copies of photos may be emailed to info@parkridgehistorycenter.org or dropped off at 721 N. Prospect Ave, Park Ridge, in the back door slot, by April 12. Include their
name, rank, approximate dates of service and any additional information you would like to include, as well as your contact information in order to receive information about the exhibit opening.
Questions can be sent to info@parkridgehistorycenter.org.
