Faced with vaccine scarcity, some people have been driving hours to get shots outside of the suburbs. And while suburban health departments have not opened vaccine eligibility to medically vulnerable people under 65, pharmacies and hospital networks in the suburbs have done so — but appointments are hard to come by.
