Evidence technicians and detectives from the Major Case Assistance Team, a task force that assists suburban police departments with major crimes and suspicious deaths testified Thursday in the murder trial of Mount Prospect resident Paul Zalewski, charged with the fatal 2018 shooting of Vladimir Esquivel, whose body was found in his burned-out Jeep Wrangler in a Mount Prospect parking lot.
