In this 1915 photograph, Horace Peaslee poses in a well-tended garden outside his Naperville home at the corner of North Avenue and Washington Street. Although it’s not known which corner was his, this is right around where the DuPage Children’s Museum now stands. According to online records, Peaslee served as a Naperville postmaster and died in 1934 at the age of 87.
