Ale fest
The Naperville Winter Ale Fest is from 12 to 4 p.m. Feb. 24 at Frontier Park in Naperville. Tickets are $60. At 3380 Cedar Glade Drive. napervillealefest.com.
There will be more than 150 craft beers: including the heavier, winter-friendly stouts, porters, barrel-aged beers and double IPAs. There will also be food trucks, lawn games and specialty tents.
Beer fest
The Lake County Craft Beer Festival will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake. Tickets are $50-$80; $10 for designated drivers. At 1060 E. Peterson Road. 847-680-7200; lcfairgrounds.com.
Grab your Hawaiian shirts and your sunglasses – Beach Bash is the theme of the ninth annual Lake County Craft Beer Festival. The event features local, regional and national breweries, distilleries and wineries sampling specialty and seasonal beers; plus music, food and games. Entertainment includes an escape room, axe throwing, giant beer pong, corn hole and beach bash costume contest.
Cambridge concert
Chicago a cappella presents “The Cambridge Concert” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wheaton. Tickets are $38-$48. At 310 S. Wheaton Ave. 773-281-7820; chicagoacappella.org.
Inspired by a trip to Cambridge University in 2019, artistic director John William Trotter has created a program featuring English choral masterworks along with a new work by a 2023 HerVoice Composer Competition winner.
Funny business

Hair ballers
