A 13-year-old boy was fatally shot Sunday night at a residence in Edgewater, Chicago police said.
Police officers responded to a call from the 6000 block of North Kenmore Avenue at approximately 8:15 p.m., and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head.
The teen was transported to Ascension St. Francis in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
No one is in custody. Detectives are investigating the incident.
