Northbrook Brewfest, always an end-of-summer crowd-pleaser with beer and other adult beverages, food, and lively music, is returning in September.
According to a news release, tickets are currently on sale for the annual event presented by the Northbrook Park District and the Village of Northbrook from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Village Green Park.
“The Northbrook Park District is thrilled to bring back Northbrook Brewfest and another year of our partnership with the Village of Northbrook,” Northbrook Park District Director of Recreation Eileen Loftus said in the release. “The established relationship for this event at the park district’s Village Green Park continues to benefit the community through shared resources and collaborative efforts. This event not only highlights our beautiful park but also fosters community spirit and camaraderie among residents.”
“Whether you’re a local or visiting for the first time, Northbrook Brewfest showcases the best of the Village — our hospitality, creativity, and passion for bringing people together,” Village President Kathryn Ciesla said in the release. “Cheers to a great event and thank you to the Northbrook Park District for their partnership in co-hosting this fantastic night out in Northbrook.”
The event will include lawn games, a photo booth, giveaways, and prizes, the release said.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Duke Tumatoe and the Power Trio plus the Brass to Mouth Horns.
The Landmark Inn Bar & Grill in Northbrook will offer food for purchase, including beer brats, pretzels, and cheese. People are also welcome to bring a picnic dinner.
Glenview-based Joseph Mullarkey Distributors will provide a variety of beers from Illinois and beyond, according to the release. The company has collaborated on the last few editions of Northbrook Brewfest.
“It has been a great event over the years,” General Manager Anthony Mullarkey said. “It gives us a chance to highlight and sample our products to hundreds of local consumers.”

New Holland – Holland, Michigan
Sierra Nevada – Chico, California
Firestone Walker – Paso Robles, California
Rogue – Newport, Oregon
Dogfish Head – Milton, Delaware
Hacker Pschorr – Munich, Germany
Additionally, there will be hard cider from Obscurity Brewing in Elburn, Illinois; non-alcoholic craft beer from Athletic Brewing in Milford, Connecticut; vodka iced tea from Sun Cruiser; and vodka and tequila cocktails from Carbliss.
Advance tickets for Northbrook Brewfest are $49 and include 15, 5-ounce tasting tickets and event swag. Non-tasting tickets are $30 and only include access to the event.
Prices will increase to $59 and $39 at the gate on Sept. 7.
People are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets, and all guests must be ages 21 and up.
