An unidentified male victim was discovered unresponsive Friday in an alley in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
The victim was found shortly before 9:30 a.m. in the 4600 block of West End Avenue with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
