Unidentified man pulled from the Chicago River Saturday morning in West Loop

The body of an unidentified man was pulled from the Chicago River in the Loop neighborhood Saturday morning, Chicago police said.

Around 8 a.m., the Chicago Police Department Marine Unit pulled a body of a man from the Chicago River in the 400 block of West Adams Street in the West Loop Gate neighborhood. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Detectives were investigating pending autopsy results. The body was being taken to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
