Following more than 130 incidents of antisemitism and anti-Muslim discrimination at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign between 2015 and December 2023, the school announced Wednesday it will comply with federal civil rights laws prohibiting discrimination based on national origin, including Jewish, Muslim, Palestinian or Arab ancestry.
