Villa Park fell short Saturday in its attempt to break the world record for the largest dog wedding ceremony. Only 80 dog couples were registered for the nuptials, putting the current record of 178 canine pairs out of reach. Still, the ceremony raised about $4,000 for 10 animal rescue organizations, organizers said.
