The NFL schedule release Wednesday allowed folks to make travel plans for the fall, and sports books have started posting very early odds for the full slate of games.
Draft Kings published odds for the entire 272-game regular season, and the Bears are favored in seven of their 17 games.
They open as a 1½-point favorite over the Minnesota Vikings on “Monday Night Football,” and they’re favored in six of their eight home games. The exceptions are Week 16 against the Green Bay Packers (plus-1½) and Week 18 against the Detroit Lions (plus-1½).
The Bears are underdogs for eight of their nine road games, favored in only the Week 4 trip to Las Vegas (minus-1½).
The biggest spread is in Week 7, when the Bears are a 7½-point favorite at home over the New Orleans Saints. The Bears are seven-point underdogs at Baltimore in Week 8 and at Philadelphia in Week 13.
Eight of the 17 point spreads are within a field goal either way.
Most shops have the over/under for the Bears’ season win total at 8½ with varying odds. Draft Kings lists over 8½ wins at plus-100 and under at minus-120. Fanatics is offering over 8½ at minus-105 with the under at minus-115.
