A Wauconda man was killed Monday in a single-vehicle crash near Antioch, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said.
The identity of the man, who was 37, has not yet been released by authorities.
Police said the man was driving in the area of West Grass Lake Road and Broadway at around 1:10 p.m. Monday when his pickup truck left the road, struck a tree and rolled over.
The man was brought to a hospital with critical injuries and was later pronounced dead. Police said they do not know why his GMC Sierra left the road.
The accident remains under investigation.
