A Waukegan man died after his motorcycle collided with a car Monday night, Lake County authorities said.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Jose Rodriguez, 31.
Rodriguez’s motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Green Bay Road and Sunset Avenue in Waukegan at 9:14 p.m., the coroner’s office said.
Police and fire crews found Rodriguez trapped beneath the car, and said he was unresponsive and not breathing. He was brought to Vista East Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, the coroner’s office said.
