WGN-Channel 9 entertainment reporter and critic Dean Richards has listed his house on Chicago’s North Side for just over $900,000.
The Emmy-winning Richards, who also hosts “Dean Richards’ Sunday Morning” on Sunday mornings on sister station WGN-AM, has been with Channel 9 since 1991 and has reviewed films for the station since 1998. A South Shore native who attended Columbia College, Richards, 70, was with Satellite Music Network from 1985 until 1990, and he had a brief stint at WNUA-FM before joining Channel 9.
On the North Side, Richards has owned his house since 2010. It has a kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, along with a primary bedroom suite with a walk-in closet and an en-suite bath with double sinks. The house also has a three-car garage.
In a brief interview, Richards declined to comment on the listing.
