A Winthrop Harbor man was killed Tuesday evening when he was ejected from his motorcycle in Waukegan, according to Lake County authorities.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 44-year-old Dustin Humphrey.
Police were called at about 7:17 p.m. Tuesday to Illinois Route 120 and Greenleaf Street, where they discovered Humphrey ejected in an accident that involved only his motorcycle.
Humphrey was brought to Advocate Condell Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy indicated that he died from blunt force trauma, the coroner’s office said.
The accident remains under investigation by the Waukegan Police Department.
