A 37-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was shot in the head while riding in a car in Gage Park on Sunday, according to a report from Chicago police.
The woman was traveling in the passenger side when a bullet hit her in the head Sunday around 2:45 a.m. on the 5300 block of South Kedzie Avenue. The woman was sent to Mount Sinai Hospital following the incident, police said.
No one is in custody and detectives are investigating the shooting, police said.
